Rabbi Epstein was ordained in 2009 from the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, New York campus. At Anshe Emeth, she is involved in all aspects of Temple life. She is currently leading the effort to become a Green synagogue through Greenfaith, and initiated the first annual Women's Spiritual Retreat for our Temple women.
Prior to serving at Anshe Emeth, she was the rabbinical intern at Chavurat Tikvah in Westchester, NY for three years. She completed Clinical Pastoral Education training in Berkeley, California, and participated in Talmud study at the Drisha Institute in New York. Rabbi Epstein graduated from Vassar College, with a BA in Cognitive Science and a minor in Art History, and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She completed yoga teacher training and serves on the board of the Avodah Dance Ensemble.
Rabbi Epstein and her husband Barak with their daughter, Noa, live in New Brunswick.
