Rickey Stein is one of the founding members of Makhelat Anshe Emet – formerly the Anshe Emeth Adult Volunteer No Ringer Choir.
He and his wife Dana have been members of Anshe Emeth for more than 40 years. They were married here and their girls were named in the sanctuary and became b’not mitzvah here. Ricky worked as a pharmacist for 45 years and is the author of “Monitor the World”, a hobbyist’s manual on scanner radios.
More recently he co-authored a book on the Four Questions of Passover entitled 300 Ways to Ask the Four Questions.
Rickey has served on several Temple committees including the Board of Trustees. He has been actively involved in the Temple’s music program for many years. In his alter-ego Ricky Recordo, he has recorded and archived almost all of the choir’s performances.
