PreK - 2nd Grade
Our pre-k to 2nd graders meet every Saturday from 9:30 am to 12:15 pm. They learn to love coming to Temple on Shabbat! This is a great time to introduce your child to the Hebrew School environment.
Curriculum
Pre-Kindergarten:
A fun introduction to Jewish holidays, Jewish moral concepts, and Hebrew through song, art, and story.
Kindergarten:
An introduction to the Hebrew alphabet, Shabbat, Torah stories, Jewish holidays. Texts: Now I Know my Alef-Bet, Jewish and Me:Fall and Spring Holidays, Let's Discover the Bible - Set 1
First Grade:
Hebrew letter and vowel recognition and basic Hebrew reading, aspects of the synagogue, Torah stories, and God.

Second Grade:
Reading multi-syllable Hebrew words, Shabbat, and Israel.
