NFTY-GER, otherwise known as the North American Federation of Temple Youth - Garden Empire Region is one of nineteen regions across North America and is the umbrella organization for over 40 congregations in Central and Northern New Jersey and Central New York.
Across North America NFTY is working towards enlightening and educating Reform Jewish youth in textual, historical, and spiritual Judaism as well as social action and social justice.
NFTY-GER also focuses on enhancing leadership skills and social opportunities. Eight times a year, at least 150 teens from NFTY-GER get together for learning, fun, worship, community service, and fellowship to help young Jewish adults throughout the region build and strengthen lifetime ties with each other and Reform Judaism.
