A Taste of Anshe Emeth: Cheese Tasting

Saturday, November 5, 2022
8:00 pm

Rudie Smit from Olsson’s Fine Foods in Princeton will be presenting his Cheese 101 course, an introduction to cheese appreciation. We will be talking about the history of cheese, how cheese is made and what makes cheeses different. Among the questions that will be answered: What makes goat cheese tangy, and blue cheese blue? Are animals hurt in the making of “Drunken Goat”? What is the attraction in eating heavy cream, ice cream and butter all at the same time? Most importantly, we will be tasting a selection of cheeses.
