Highlighting the Music of Odessa
T-Klez’ sound is singularly joyful and masterful. Rooted firmly in 19th and 20th century traditional klezmer repertoire with deep bows to Hasidic traditions will bring us the sounds of Odessa, Ukraine and Eastern Europe. Featuring Aaron Alexander on percussion, Psachya Septimus on the accordion and keyboard, who has been an integral part of the NYC Hasidic music scene for the past 30 years, and Dobe (Dena) Ressler, clarinet and bandleader, who has taught at Yiddish New York, KlezKamp and at the New England Conservatory of Music’s summer Klezmer Institute.
