In her memoir, The Book of Separation, Ms. Mirvis discusses her divorce, her decision to leave the Orthodox community, and the bittersweet realities of navigating a new life as a single mother.

Tova Mirvis is an award winning author and speaker who graduated from Columbia University and immediately went on to earn her MFA from Columbia. She published her first novel in 1999 and has written four more novels since then. Ms. Mirvis has published numerous essays in the NY Times Book Review, Poets and Writers, and other periodicals.
