When the Torah was given to us on Mount Sinai, we received the main element of what binds all Jews together as one people. It was easy when we were Israelites in the desert to be part of one people, but what does it mean today as we are dispersed throughout the world? And what does Peoplehood mean today as we witness Jewish infighting in Israel over the definition of what it means to be part of the Jewish People?
