Bimah Flower Fund – This fund underwrites the cost of beautiful flower arrangements in our sanctuary for Shabbat and holiday services.
Library Fund – This fund helps to enlarge and update our library collection. Book dedications are also available for $36.
Ner Tamid – Used as a general good & welfare fund for the Temple (to purchase wine, candles, kippot, and other religious items) and helps support our Oneg Shabbat.
Prayerbook Fund – This fund enables us to purchase new prayerbooks and Chumashim as needed. We also purchase large print prayerbooks for Shabbat and the holidays. A donation of $36 enables a bookplate to be inscribed in our Machzors (High Holy Days prayerbooks).
Religious School Parent/Teacher Organization – This fund supports programming for our religious school.
Special Publications Fund – This fund helps cover the cost of printing special prayer books for holidays.
Children’s Special Education and Childcare – This fund enhances the Religious School’s Special Education Program.
Max Marder Fellowship – This fund was created in memory of Max Marder, a beloved teacher in our Religious School. The Fellowship provides for student participation in the “Youth in Israel” Program.
Rabbi Bennett F. Miller Chai Fund – This fund celebrates Rabbi Miller’s 40+ years at Anshe Emeth. It enhances the Temple community through educational and cultural programs.
Rae Schlesinger Memorial Fund – This fund is used exclusively for students participating in the Eisendrath International Exchange (EIE) Program, a four-month study program in Israel.
Shoshana Parsells Scholarship Fund – This fund was established to honor Shoshana Parsells who taught Hebrew to children and adults for 25 years at Anshe Emeth. The fund is used to provide scholarships for Hebrew study.
Rabbi Bazeley Betzalel Fund – This fund was established in honor of Rabbi Bazeley becoming our Senior Rabbi, for educational and cultural programs
Cantor’s Music Fund – This fund helps us bring exciting and unique musical programs to Anshe Emeth.
Women’s Spirituality Fund – This fund supports the Anshe Emeth Women’s Spirituality programs.
Jason Deutch Memorial Fund – This fund provides scholarships for teens to participate in the Religious Action Center’s (RAC) L’Taken program.
Rina B. Pakenham Memorial Camp Scholarship Fund – This scholarship enables students to attend summer camp.
Youth Activities Fund – This fund helps in the development and implementation of our Youth Group programs.
Bernard Kislin Memorial Scholarship Fund – This fund is used to provide scholarships for students from the temple to attend a URJ Summer Camp Experience.
Harvey Stone Memorial Scholarship Fund – This fund is used to provide scholarship for high school students to participate in a NFTY in Israel Experience.
General Memorial Scholarship Fund – This fund provides scholarships for Temple students to attend camp or special youth programs.
Caring Community Fund – This fund provides financial assistance to Anshe Emeth member families who are in need.
Jewish National Fund (JNF) – Anshe Emeth helps facilitate donations to the JNF who plants trees in Israel in honor of or in memory of a loved one. Checks are made payable to “Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple”.
Tzedakah Fund – This fund supports local, international and Jewish organizations.
Hesed Fund – This fund provides meals to members who are sitting shiva or are experiencing crises.
Dedicate a Prayer book for the High Holy Days – $36 for 1 volume of our High Holy Day Machzor (either Rosh Hashanah or Yom Kippur); $54 for the 2 volume set of the High Holy Day Machzor. This may be done through the online donation form.
Book of Life – We will inscribe the name of your loved one in a permanently bound memorial book. The name is also displayed during the time of Yahrzeit. The cost is $180 per name. Please contact the Temple office for more information.
Memorial Plaques – We will engrave the name of your loved one on a plaque on the Laurie wall located outside the Sanctuary. The cost is $750 per name. Please contact the Temple office for more information.
Sanctuary & Amphitheater Seats – As an honorarium or memorial, we will engrave the name of your loved one on a plate that is affixed to a sanctuary pew. The cost per plate is $1800 in the Sanctuary and $1000 in the Amphitheater.
Families wishing to establish a permanent memorial within the Temple should speak with Rabbi Bazeley or our temple president.
