Calling all congregants!
We are very excited about a joint URJ/ARZA project for Israel’s 75th Birthday. ARZA, through the Herzl Society, is enabling URJ congregations to be a part of a wide scale endeavor to put out a recording of Israel’s national anthem, Hatikvah, like never before. Every URJ congregation has been invited to gather and record themselves singing Hatikvah as one community. The various recordings will then be spliced together to make one larger video of the entire Reform Movement coming together to show our connection to the State of Israel. We will be recording our video as the closing song of services on Friday, March 3rd. Services begin at 6pm and we will conclude with the singing at Hatikvah all together in the sanctuary. Please join us for the recording and then stay for the community Shabbat dinner that follows. It will be a night you don’t want to miss. We’ll see you there.
