Our Philosophy
We provide a safe, nurturing and educational environment for children from six weeks through age 5. Our early education center is open year-round to accommodate parents seeking a Jewish child care and preschool experience for our youngest learners. Flexible scheduling includes half, full and extended day options.
We are committed to providing an enriching and nurturing environment based on progressive Jewish values and ideals where children develop a strong Jewish identity while receiving a high-quality, developmentally appropriate early education. We are committed to ongoing staff development which enables us to understand each child and helps each child reach their full potential. Through positive, strength-based approaches we help children develop confidence and high self-esteem. We strive to be models of inquiry and growth while supported by experienced and caring teachers, a community of educators and learners and our involved Rabbis and Cantor. The children at Gan Yeladeem Learning Center are encouraged to love learning, take risks and respect themselves, each other and the adults in their lives.
Creative Curriculum
Enrollment in all Gan programs is limited, as we seek to encourage a low student-teacher ratio in which every child and their family is known by all of our staff and valued, cared for and taught with respect and love.
